Software Testing Leadership Role

Our client, a prominent player in the financial services sector, is seeking an experienced software testing professional to lead their Quality Assurance (QA) function for their Core Banking implementation project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute QA plans, strategies, and reports for FLEXCUBE Core Banking implementations.
  • Formulate test approaches for functional, integration, regression, UAT, and performance testing.
  • Manage QA teams and collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Vendors.
  • Review and validate Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specifications.
  • Ensure traceability of requirements through test cases and defect tracking.
  • Oversee defect triaging, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.

The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in software testing, preferably in banking or financial services. They should possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of testing methodologies and tools.

  • Extensive knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience with quality assurance frameworks, such as ISO 9001.
