Job Description

We are seeking a visionary leader to oversee our risk management initiatives, fostering strategic partnerships and delivering innovative solutions.

  • Develop comprehensive risk strategies with multi-year roadmaps that align risk initiatives with business objectives and market trends.
  • Establish the organization as a leading industry voice in risk management through compelling narratives, frameworks, and insights.
  • Design a content management framework for creating thought leadership content, its delivery through various channels, and oversight of the content repository.
  • Ensure effective governance frameworks that accelerate execution and drive high-quality outputs.
  • Plan and execute industry events, conferences, webinars, and client roundtables to showcase risk capabilities and stimulate meaningful dialogue.
  • Develop OKRs for Regional Risk Officers and ensure consistent cascading throughout the CEMEA Risk Organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Core Requirements:

  • At least 12 years of strategy development experience at top-tier consulting firms or equivalent roles at major multinational financial institutions.
  • Advanced degree from a top-tier institution with a strong analytical foundation.
  • Deep experience in financial services is required, with payments industry experience being advantageous.

Leadership Capabilities:

  • Proven ability to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and drive implementation independently.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable outcomes and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong ownership mindset who thrives in ambiguous situations.

Communication & Analytical Skills:

  • Synthesize complex information into compelling storylines and strategic narratives.
  • Present strategic recommendations to senior leadership, board members, and external stakeholders.
  • Develop high-quality thought leadership materials and executive-level presentations.

Stakeholder Management & Strategic Thinking:

  • Effectively work with diverse stakeholder groups including senior executives, product teams, and external partners.
  • Rapidly analyze and synthesize information to identify key market trends and competitive dynamics.
  • Quickly adapt strategic approaches based on changing market conditions.
