Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Data Analyst/Statistician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets from various sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to identify trends and insights in complex data sets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy models into production and optimize business outcomes.
  • Design and execute A/B tests and other experiments to validate hypotheses and inform data-driven decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and industry trends in statistics and data science.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a data science or analytical role.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL and their respective libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning, and data modeling techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
  • Background in natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision.
