Job Title: Functional Safety Engineer

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented engineer to lead Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA) and develop robust safety concepts for advanced control systems.

This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508, or ARP4761.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define safety goals and derive functional safety requirements
  • Develop safety case documentation and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in functional safety engineering, preferably in automotive or industrial domains
  • Strong understanding of ISO 26262, IEC 61508, or equivalent safety standards
  • Experience with HARA, FMEA, FTA, and safety lifecycle methods and processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Functional Safety Engineer
  • Experience with safety-critical embedded systems and control software
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards
