About This Role

We are seeking a Senior 3D Environment & Artist to craft immersive virtual environments while collaborating with architects, engineers, and developers to bring digital twins to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create large-scale, photorealistic environments in Unreal Engine (UE5 preferred) and optimize them for real-time performance.
  • Model, texture, and optimize high-quality 3D assets such as architecture, props, foliage, lighting, and materials.
  • Import and integrate CAD/BIM/Revit and IoT data into interactive Unreal environments.
  • E nsure assets and scenes meet real-time performance benchmarks by optimizing draw calls, LODs, shaders, and lighting.
  • Set visual standards, provide feedback, and mentor junior artists.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate technical specs into compelling visualizations.
  • Define and improve workflows for CAD/BIM data import into Unreal.
  • Maintain accuracy and fidelity in alignment with architectural drawings and design intent.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in 3D Art, Architecture, Computer Graphics, Game Design, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in 3D art/environment design, with 3+ years focused on Unreal Engine (architectural visualization/digital twins).
  • Core Expertise:
  • Advanced knowledge of Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5) for environment creation.
  • Strong 3D modeling & texturing skills in 3ds Max, Blender, Maya, Substance Painter, Photoshop, and ZBrush.
  • Proven ability to import/optimize CAD/BIM/Revit files.
  • Lighting, shading, and material creation using PBR workflows.
  • Strong artistic sense of scale, realism, and composition.
  • Deep knowledge of UV mapping, baking, LODs, and optimization.
  • Technical Skills:
  • LOD generation & asset optimization for real-time rendering.
  • Familiarity with Blueprints (basic interactivity).
  • VR/AR/MR workflows (plus).
  • Knowledge of GIS, IoT, or real-time data integration within Unreal (preferred).
