This role is critical in aligning procurement and supply chain activities with organizational goals and ensuring sustainable supply chain solutions.

We are seeking a highly experienced Procurement Operations Manager to lead our end-to-end procurement process, ensuring quality assurance standards, and compliance with donor and organizational policies.

The successful candidate will oversee the acquisition of goods and services for PSI health interventions per PSI & donor policies and guidelines.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement activities to meet the needs of network members efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and services aligned with project timelines and requirements.
  • Develop and enforce quality assurance protocols to comply with donor requirements and PSI policies.
  • Lead and supervise direct reports, offering guidance, support, and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Strengthen the procurement and supply chain competencies of team members through targeted training, coaching, and mentorship initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver status updates and management information reports on procurement and supply chain activities.
  • Identify and evaluate potential new vendors for PSI products, conducting thorough due diligence.

About You:

  • Post Graduate (or international equivalent) in Business, Operation Management, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of professional purchasing experience. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted.
  • Experience working in a donor-funded environment required.
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical commercial organization would be preferred.
  • Basic Knowledge of relevant funder (USAID, Global Fund) regulations.
  • Ability to draft moderate to complex bidding and contractual instruments.
  • Able to maintain complete confidentiality for sensitive issues and information.
  • Able to multi-task and meet deadlines in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.
  • Working knowledge of international freight movements and INCOTERMS.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English. Fluency in French and/or Spanish preferred.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
