Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a skilled Data Migration Specialist to lead and execute data migration activities for Finance modules using Oracle FBDI, ADFDI, and other Oracle-recommended tools.
  • The successful candidate will develop and maintain FBDI templates for modules like GL (General Ledger), AP (Accounts Payable), AR (Accounts Receivable), FA (Fixed Assets), and CM (Cash Management).
  • This role involves performing data analysis, cleansing, transformation, and mapping from legacy systems to Oracle Fusion.
  • Candidates will coordinate with functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure accurate financial data conversion.
  • A key responsibility will be designing and implementing data reconciliation and validation processes post-load.
  • The ideal candidate will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to FBDI upload failures, validation errors, and interface errors.
  • They will collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure seamless integration and configuration alignment.
  • This position also includes creating documentation for migration processes, data mapping, and error resolution guides.
  • Support UAT and cutover activities and provide post-go-live support for data-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with Oracle Fusion Financials and data migration tools (FBDI, ADFDI, BI Publisher, Web Services).
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of FBDI templates, staging tables, and import processes.
  • Experience working with SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Cloud BI (OTBI/BIP) for data extraction and reporting.
  • Sound understanding of Finance business processes and legacy-to-cloud transformation best practices.
  • Ability to analyze, validate, and reconcile financial data accurately.
  • Experience in working with large datasets and performing data cleansing/transformation.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle Cloud Certification in Financials or Data Migration
  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and REST/SOAP web services
  • Exposure to other modules (Procurement, Projects, etc.) is a plus
