Senior Director of Global Business Development

About this role:

We seek a seasoned strategic leader to expand our international business development presence in US markets. This high-impact role drives global revenue growth, builds long-term partnerships, and leads enterprise sales efforts in the international BPO space.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategy for US markets
  • Conduct market research and strategic planning for customer acquisitions, retentions, and growth
  • Identify and close large-scale outsourcing opportunities across verticals (Sales, Customer Support, HR, Legal etc.)
  • Build and manage strong pipelines of Fortune 1000 and mid-market clients
  • Lead the sales cycle from lead generation and RFP response to contract negotiation and onboarding
  • Collaborate with Operations & Delivery, Finance, HR, Legal, and other teams to design winning proposals
  • Represent us at global events, client meetings, and industry forums
  • Mentor and build a high-performing international business development team
  • Ensure compliance and legal requirements fulfillment

Key Requirements:

  • Proven 15 years experience in BPO/ITES with focus on international business development
  • Minimum 10 years US market experience in BPO sales and client services
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Ability to close multi-million-dollar deals with CXO-level stakeholders
  • Expertise in outsourcing services including sales, customer support, HR, legal processes, and advisory verticals
  • Strong business acumen and deep understanding of the global outsourcing ecosystem
  • Deep understanding of prevailing and emerging technologies in BPO/BPM spaces
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required
  • Analytical mindset with ability to manage performance metrics and targets
  • Proficient in CRM tools, MS Office, and sales enablement platforms
