System Quality Assurance Specialist

As a key member of our mobile application development team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through automated testing.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and identify test scenarios suitable for automation.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using relevant tools and frameworks.
  • Execute automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications.
  • Identify and report defects using bug tracking tools, providing detailed information and steps to reproduce.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that changes or updates do not introduce new issues.
  • Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing clear and concise information about test results and defects.
  • Continuously enhance and optimize automated test suites to improve efficiency and coverage.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (CS, IT) or Post Graduate Degree in Computer Applications (MCA).
  • Proven experience of 4+ years as an Automation Tester or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in automation testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or Cucumber.
  • Experience in designing and developing automation test scripts using scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript).
  • Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and their implementation.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills to effectively communicate test results and issues to the development team.
