Job Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Software Test Engineer to contribute to the development of automated testing tools for trading and financial applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development life cycles, including functional, user acceptance testing (UAT), performance, and regression testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain, and update test cases and regression scripts based on business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Test new system software versions using automated testing tools, identifying and reporting defects in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to discuss issues and report on the status of testing, driving continuous improvement throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, incorporating feedback from stakeholders to enhance overall quality.
  • Utilize programming languages such as Java, C#, or C++ to design, code, and document automated test cases within a defined framework.

Requirements:

  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively convey complex technical information.
  • Have experience working in a fast-paced financial market data environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Demonstrate high motivation levels and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality deliverables under minimal supervision.
  • Show willingness to learn new technologies and tools, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in science and/or engineering, with at least 3 years of general Quality Assurance experience in the financial industry.
