Code Review Engineer

We are seeking a skilled software professional to spearhead the development of our AI-powered code review system.

About the Role:

  • This is a fully remote, contracted position that offers maximum flexibility and deep impact.

  • As a Code Review Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and building AI-infused features for deep code analysis and review.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Designing tooling that speaks developer fluently by embedding language models into development workflows.
  • Scaling smart systems with efficiency in mind, from local setups to cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Contributing to ideation and innovation, with a focus on creativity, feedback, and mentorship.
  • Staying at the bleeding edge of generative AI and software engineering best practices through debriefing and evolution.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong fundamentals and clean, scalable code.
  • Fluency in modern backend stacks, with TypeScript/Node.js preferred but other server-side languages welcome.
  • Experience with distributed systems, high-performance computing, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Advantageous: hands-on knowledge of code search, code graphs, static analysis tools, and frameworks like tree-sitter.
  • A degree in CS, Engineering, AI, or equivalent; a love for tackling hard problems; an enthusiasm for teaching and learning.
