Credit Audit Specialist

  • Conduct thorough credit audits of Wholesale Banking segment and SMEs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Audit reviews cover both pre- and post-sanction, disbursement, and monitoring processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead or participate in all business credit audits, overseeing a team of 2-4 auditors and driving results-oriented collaboration.
  • Ensure timely commencement and closure of audits, documenting working papers and maintaining a meticulous record-keeping system.
  • Prepare and submit high-quality audit reports within the stipulated timeframe, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Submit required RBI data, Tranche III, and other regulatory documents on time, guaranteeing seamless compliance.
  • Focus on delivering exceptional audit reports, emphasizing policy adherence, consistency of data furnished, and risk coverage.
  • Carry out assignments such as reviewing processes, thematic audits, checklists, and special audits to enhance overall performance.
  • Coordinate with concurrent auditors for effective monitoring and ensure quality concurrent audit reports, fostering strong teamwork.
  • Examine developments in credit-related areas, providing assurance on regulatory and control requirements, and offer guidance to Team Lead Audit.
  • Develop audit checklists for internal/concurrent auditors, identifying potential pitfalls and bottlenecks, and ensure their resolution.
  • Provide valuable suggestions for process/system improvements to line management, driving business growth and efficiency.
