Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team.

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica IICS.

The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google BigQuery (GBQ).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop ETL/ELT Workflows: The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica IICS.
  • Integrate IICS Solutions: Integrate IICS solutions with cloud-based data platforms such as GCP and GBQ.
  • Pipeline Optimization: Optimize pipelines for scalability and performance.
  • Data Mappings and Task Flows: Develop reusable data mappings, task flows, and parameterized solutions.
  • Deployment and Version Control: Manage deployments, migrations, and version control of IICS assets.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into data solutions.
  • Testing and Debugging: Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of ETL jobs.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years of ETL development experience, with 2–3 years in Informatica IICS.
  • Technical Skills: Strong SQL skills and experience with RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
  • Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with GCP and Google BigQuery.
  • Data Governance: Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and data cataloging tools.
  • Integration: Experience integrating data from on-prem, SaaS applications, and cloud data lakes.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
