Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned quality assurance professional to become part of our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and automating quality processes to ensure products meet specifications for quality, function, and reliability.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop functional test cases, System & Integration Test cases, and test artifacts used in the software development life cycle.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases validating functionalities, code quality, and report test results following formal test architectures and project processes.
  • Track metrics (velocity, code quality, defect density across all phases, code review metrics, testing metrics) for each sprint, reporting to management.
  • Document testing results, including expected behavior, actual behavior, and detailed steps to reproduce defects.
  • Provide quality sign-off to project teams and execute testing duties assigned.
  • Configure QA performance/load test design and execution to ensure high-performance software environment under load.
  • Incorporate client usage and feedback into test scripts mimicking end-user behavior in QA.
  • Diagnose problems and report bugs and enhancements to the Agile squad.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in a STEM or related field is required.
  • At least three years of application testing experience.
  • Experience with use case generation, manual testing, and bug lifecycle management.
  • Understanding of relational database models and experience with GUI tools to interact with them.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Exposure to bug tracking and test case management tools such as JIRA, Azure TFS, and Git.
  • Experience testing multi-browser and mobile device systems.
  • Good customer empathy.
  • A can-do attitude.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about building amazing products.
  • Strong analysis and autonomous problem discovery and solving skills.
  • Experience in C#, JUnit/TestNG, Jenkins, Playwright, Selenium, SoapUI.
  • Experience creating Playwright, Selenium, REST API, Junit test automation.
  • Experience with API testing (JSON, REST), using tools such as Postman and JMeter.
Desirable Skills:
  • C# programming language.
  • Playwright, Selenium, and SoapUI tools.
