Job Overview

As a Cloud Advisory Architect, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales teams throughout the entire cycle of RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition.

  • You will be responsible for presenting service offerings and value proposition to customers, usually CIOs, IT managers, datacenter managers, and SAP Technology staff;
  • Supporting and organizing technical responses to requests for proposal and information (RFP/RFI's);
  • Blueprinting customer requirements around high availability, disaster recovery, business continuity, security, compliance, networks, etc.;
  • Generating pricing and providing ongoing deal support to sales teams;
  • Acting as the orchestrator of experts to obtain expertise from the Cloud Architecture & Advisory organization as required.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategies to meet customer needs;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales success;
  • Provide expert-level guidance on cloud architecture and infrastructure;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in customer communications and presentations;
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or computer science, Business Administration from an accredited university;
  • Good understanding of SAP technologies, platform interdependencies, and entire platform stacks including storage, virtualization, hardware, networks, etc.;
  • English native speaker, any other language is an asset;
  • 7-12 years of hands-on customer-facing SAP Technology Consulting and/or Presales experience preferably with hosting providers and data centers;
  • Experience working for an enterprise software and/or services vendor is necessary.
