Job Title: Cloud Solutions Architect

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled cloud architect to design and implement scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in multiple cloud platforms and experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, containerization, and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Cloud Solutions: Create scalable and efficient cloud architectures that meet business needs.
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code: Utilize Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates to automate infrastructure deployments.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Design and manage containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes at an enterprise scale.
  • Cloud Networking and Security: Develop secure cloud networking solutions, including VPCs, load balancers, firewalls, and segmentation.
  • DevOps Best Practices: Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Cloud Cost Optimization: Utilize resource management, rightsizing, and automation tools to minimize cloud costs.
  • Data Lakes and Big Data: Develop data lake and big data architectures to support AI/ML workloads.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Design monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
  • Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams to define technical requirements and guide architectural decisions.
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning for mission-critical systems.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Professional Experience: 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Cloud Platform Expertise: Deep expertise in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Scalable Solution Design: Proven track record designing and implementing scalable, resilient, and highly available solutions.
  • Cloud Networking Knowledge: Strong knowledge of cloud networking (VPC, load balancing, firewalls).
  • IaC Tools Proficiency: Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Proficiency in containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and serverless technologies.
  • DevOps and Cloud Cost Optimization: Solid background in DevOps practices and cloud cost optimization.
  • Cloud Security and Compliance: Knowledge of cloud security & compliance standards (SOC 2, GDPR).
  • Data Lakes and Big Data: Experience with data lakes and big data technologies in the cloud.
  • Monitoring and Logging Tools: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
