Job Title: Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security organization, you will be responsible for conducting application security assessments, including architecture and design reviews, code reviews, penetration testing (ethical hacking), and vendor risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies and trends, including static application security testing (SAST) and dynamic application security testing (DAST).
  • Use source code analyzers to identify security vulnerabilities and suggest countermeasures for security improvements.
  • Analyze security penetration tests to pinpoint security issues and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  • Develop expertise in web technologies, including Java/J2EE/Struts/.NET/PHP/JavaScript.
  • Understand HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, TLS, and SFTP protocols.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of business and technical acumen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Integrate security into DevOps and automate security in the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Possess professional certifications, such as CEH, ECSA, LPT, or equivalent.
  • Be a focused and versatile team player comfortable working under pressure.
  • Demonstrate the ability to remove barriers and enable teams to complete their objectives.
  • Show excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and corresponding security threats.
  • Be self-motivated, flexible, and possess a can-do attitude.
  • Demonstrate solid influencing skills.
  • Show the ability to pick up business knowledge, new technology areas, new processes/methodologies, and apply these changes in day-to-day work to improve the security organization.
