CAD Space Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Space Planning Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting space allocations by maintaining polylines for each floor of each building using CAD, capturing post-move space reconfigurations, and maintaining the CAD drawing library.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain floor plans for each building using CAD to capture minor post-move space reconfigurations.
  • Complete polylining for area measurements based on the BOMA Standard Method for Measuring Floor Area in Office Buildings.
  • Complete and maintain attribute assignment.
  • Perform space audits to ensure accuracy of reconfiguration to the design and update the CAD files accordingly.
  • Provide support as necessary to Occupancy Planners for block planning and presentation drawings utilizing CAD.
  • Maintain corporate CAD drawing policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors the delivery and receipt of necessary CAD files; and
  • Coordinate with outside vendors to ensure accuracy of drawings and adherence to the corporate CAD drawing policies and procedures.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with:

  • High School Degree (associate degree preferred).
  • Experience in Computer Aided Design.
  • Three to Five years of project-related experience in support of a Corporate Real Estate environment.
  • A working knowledge of planning business, construction and technology (infrastructure) are necessary.


Technical Skills Required:
  • Expert in AutoCAD R14 or higher.
  • Ability to trouble shoot and author updates and changes to CAFM tool technology as required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
