Manual Automation QA Tester Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated professional to join our dynamic team as a Manual Automation QA Tester.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with developers, architects, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the highest quality standards for software products.

  • Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on project requirements and product specifications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications.

Beyond technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Additionally, they will be able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain accurate documentation of their progress.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Test planning and execution: Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on project requirements and product specifications.
  • Bug identification and reporting: Identify, document, and report defects using an issue tracking system.
  • Collaboration and communication: Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure proper test coverage.

To excel in this role, the candidate should have a strong foundation in manual and automation testing, preferably with experience working on web and mobile applications.

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Additionally, proficiency in writing detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts, as well as a solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and different testing methodologies, is essential.

Technical skills include experience with bug tracking tools, familiarity with basic SQL queries to validate database and data consistency, and hands-on knowledge of frameworks such as Selenium and Appium.
