Job Purpose:

The Assistant Manager - Sales & Specification role is a critical position responsible for delivering sales growth through a combination of specification and project working, channel management, and market development activities in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieving monthly and yearly sales targets of the assigned sales territory
  • Project working: Maintaining and tracking data bases of industrial and building segment projects to convert them into business opportunities
  • Mapping and visiting consultants and architects to specify Saint-Gobain Insulation solutions
  • Providing technical presentations and support to customers
  • Working with system-providers like drywall companies, roofing contractors, insulation contractors, and HVAC contractors to sell techno-commercially viable solutions
  • Channel management and development of new channel partners
  • Market development activities, including trade shows and presentations
  • Business development through geographical expansion
  • Closely coordinating with supporting functions to deliver upon the agreed business strategy

Required Skills and Qualifications:

An BSc/B.E./B.Tech graduate with 4-6 years of experience in sales and commercial roles
