We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Specialist to join our team in a key role that drives procurement excellence.

As a Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and reliability. You will maintain a database of approved suppliers and keep supplier profiles up-to-date.

You will also conduct supplier audits, site visits, or assessments as needed, and request and analyze quotations from multiple vendors. Your negotiation skills will be essential in securing the best possible prices and terms.

In addition, you will raise purchase orders and follow up to ensure timely delivery, coordinate with inventory, production, and warehouse teams for demand forecasting and order planning, and monitor stock levels to reorder supplies as necessary.

Your documentation skills will be critical in ensuring proper documentation of sourcing activities, contracts, and transactions. You will also comply with organizational procurement policies and ethical sourcing practices, and assist in resolving invoice discrepancies, claims, or quality issues with vendors.

Finally, you will track and report on cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement metrics, providing valuable insights to support budget planning and cost optimization initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, Engineering, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement roles
  • Exposure to local and international sourcing is preferred
  • Key Skills:
    • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
    • Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
    • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
    • Attention to detail and time management
