Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a seasoned Security Operations Manager to oversee the management of our WAN and LAN security infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain robust security standards by ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Leverage extensive experience in live disaster recovery activities and periodic drills to ensure preparedness and minimize downtime.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving server, storage, and network architectures to make informed decisions and drive business growth.
  • Effectively supervise outsourced teams for daily operations, focusing on errorless asset inventory and process adherence.
  • Map new technologies to organizational needs, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Educational Qualification:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is required. A Master's degree or relevant certifications are highly desirable.

Experience:

4-5 years of experience in a related role is preferred. Proven track record of success in security operations, disaster recovery, and technology implementation is essential.

Skills Required:

  • Information security policies, procedures, compliance monitoring, disaster recovery operations.
  • Internal and external systems audit covering key areas like Network Security, Security operations, Vulnerability Assessment, Access Control.
  • Familiarity with SIEM, Event log management, Patch management/Anti-virus/URL Web Filtering, vulnerability assessment, Checkpoint Firewalls, ASA, ACS, PIM, DDoS, APT, and UTM solutions.
  • Basic networking concepts like switching and routing, network monitoring tools.
  • Information system assessment, IT Security, Network security.
  • Understanding of information security standards and compliance needs.
  • Implementing security improvements by assessing current situations, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements.
  • Maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and process adherence.

Functional Competencies required:

  • Determines security violations and inefficiencies by reviewing and analyzing data.
  • Upgrades systems by implementing and maintaining security controls and protocols.
  • Vendor Management/SLA Monitoring.
  • Defining, planning, scoping, scheduling, preparing complete work breakdowns.
