Job Role

The job role of a Senior Software Engineer involves software development, continuous learning, database and cloud integration, automation and configuration, agile collaboration, quality assurance, troubleshooting and optimization, and promoting best engineering practices.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, code, test, and deploy software components.
  • Investigate and correct software defects.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and programming languages.
  • Work with AWS or other cloud platforms.
  • Create and maintain scripts and configurations for software releases.
  • Participate in agile planning and collaborate with teams to execute test matrices.
  • Translate user stories into test cases, automate testing, and track defects.
  • Maintain test suites and documentation.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and optimizing workflows.
  • Identify and address gaps in requirements and tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should have a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent, 5+ years of software design & development experience, strong programming skills in Python, proficiency in C++, experience with Model Content Protocol (MCP) and agentic AI frameworks, containerized workloads and orchestration tools, infrastructure experience, and ability to provide technical leadership and domain expertise.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred applicants should have experience with spatial data processing, Computer Vision algorithms, and/or Machine Learning frameworks, knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL, or other database technologies, and strong communication and collaboration skills in a distributed team environment.
