Production Leadership Opportunity

Seeking an experienced production leader to oversee and manage production operations, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.

About the Role

  • Lead and supervise shop floor activities to achieve production targets and maintain high-quality outputs.
  • Plan, schedule, and prioritize production tasks in line with project requirements and deadlines.
  • Provide technical expertise in sheet metal fabrication, welding (TIG/MIG for stainless steel), and assembly processes.
  • Monitor resource allocation and optimize utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and drive compliance throughout the team.
  • Develop and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Quality team to ensure robust inspections and quality control measures.
  • Analyze production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to improve output and reduce downtime.
  • Mentor and train production team members on best practices, welding methods, and safety protocols.
  • Initiate and lead process improvement projects to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation for traceability and audit purposes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in production leadership roles, with a strong background in sheet metal fabrication and welding.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other CAD software.
  • Hands-on expertise in TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) and MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding for stainless steel assemblies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
