Job Title

Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate HVAC drawings per project standards.
  • Coordinate with civil, architectural, electrical, plumbing and fire-fighting layouts.
  • Resolve technical issues with site teams.
  • Maintain ISO documentation and drawing logs.
  • Support quantity take-offs and drawing approvals.
Requirements
  • B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • HVAC training certification is preferred.
Desirable Skills
  • Strong HVAC knowledge (chillers, AHUs, VAVs, FCUs, ventilation, smoke control).
  • Familiarity with GCC codes and Civil Defence requirements.
  • Proficient in HVAC calculations and software (e.g., HAP).
  • Knowledge of Revit, Navisworks is a plus.
  • Good communication, coordination and documentation skills.
  • Understanding of related MEP systems.

A skilled Design Engineer is required to design and prepare working drawings for commercial and light industrial buildings. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in the drawings and coordinating with various teams including civil, architectural, electrical, plumbing and fire-fighting.
