Job Title:

A Product Development Professional is sought after to spearhead the design of products based on established design rules, providing technical support to production and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design calculations and simulations are performed based on design guidelines.
  • The specialist will analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for innovation and cost optimization.
  • A strong understanding of the technical aspects of product development, including research methodologies and relevant technologies, is required.
  • The professional will lead the entire product lifecycle from ideation to validation, ensuring products meet quality standards and market needs.
  • Design documentation is prepared as per new product development and release procedures.
  • Automotive mindsets and methods are understood and applied.
  • New material approvals are characterized and approved.
  • Quality issues related to raw materials are handled by the operations team.
  • Change management processes are adhered to as defined by TDK guidelines.
  • Customer requirements from automotive requirements are addressed, and new or alternate material suppliers are found.
  • UL, VDE, CQC, BIS, and IATF audits and their requirements are handled.
  • Technical support is provided to the Quality department.
  • PPAP documentation and RCA with head of quality tools DFMEA are experienced with.
