Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Controls Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project scope of work, schedule, and level of efforts (LOE) for customers and stakeholders.
  • Manage projects from start to finish, including scope, schedule, finance, and execution in data centers.
  • Support procurement activities, including request for quotation/proposals, responding to requests for information, and review of vendors' proposals.
  • Assist with commissioning activities in data centers.
  • Conduct engineering analysis and research on data center equipment and facilities.
  • Evaluate designs and installations to ensure they meet requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to develop control system designs and remediation playbooks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Deep understanding of industry-standard electrical and mechanical systems used in data centers, as well as controls/monitoring systems.
  • 10+ years of experience in designing, configuring, programming, installing, troubleshooting, or servicing HVAC Controls and Electrical SCADA systems application specific controllers, Building Management System (BMS) Controls software and networks.
  • Experience in developing and modifying controls logic programming and graphical user interfaces.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholder deliverables, requirements, and navigate challenging situations.
  • Project coordination experience with multiple teams or vendors to meet project requirements.
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP, MQTT, BACnet, and/or MODBUS communication protocols.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
