Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our organization. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python programming and experience working with cloud-based technologies such as Snowflake. You should be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical ideas clearly.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Airflow and Snowflake.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand business requirements and implement data solutions.
  • Maintain and optimize existing data processing systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the engineering team's coding standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on big data processing and analytics.
  • Proficient in Python programming and experience with Airflow and Snowflake.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
