Job Title: Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered systems using deep learning techniques. This includes implementing machine learning algorithms, fine-tuning models, and integrating them into production environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop AI Systems: Implement machine learning algorithms using Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and NumPy.
  • Model Deployment and Integration: Fine-tune models, integrate them into production environments, and ensure seamless deployment.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, communicate technical concepts effectively, and provide peer mentoring.
Requirements:
  • Deep Learning Expertise: 4-6 years of experience in implementing deep learning systems using PyTorch, TensorFlow, and NumPy.
  • Software Engineering Skills: Solid software engineering principles, experience with Git, Docker, and REST/gRPC APIs.
  • Vector Database Familiarity: Proficiency in vector databases and prompt-engineering strategies.
  • Model Publishing and Serving: Ability to publish, version, and serve models using the Hub, Transformers, Datasets, and Inference Endpoints.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Quantisation and Pruning: Experience with quantisation (INT8, FP16) and pruning for sub-100 ms inference latency.
  • Kubeflow/MLflow Experience: Familiarity with orchestrating automated ML pipelines using Kubeflow/MLflow.
  • API Design: Ability to design well-documented, version-controlled APIs and SDKs for internal and external consumption.
