About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an investment professional specializing in climate solutions. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates early in their careers who are passionate about venture capital, sustainable innovation, and making a positive impact on the environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investment Research: Assist in identifying potential investment opportunities through research and preliminary outreach. Develop in-depth knowledge of emerging trends in climate tech and sustainability.
  • Due Diligence Support: Collaborate with the team to conduct financial analysis, market validation, and data collection for potential deals. Identify key performance indicators and develop strategies to drive growth.
  • Investment Process Support: Help prepare investment memos, presentations, and supporting documentation that effectively communicate the value proposition to investors.
  • Portfolio Management: Assist in tracking performance and impact metrics and conducting basic analyses for portfolio companies. Develop a deep understanding of the company's business model, market positioning, and competitive landscape.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct sectoral research to inform investment theses and track trends in climate tech and sustainability. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes that may impact investments.
  • Ecosystem Engagement: Help coordinate our presence at events and build databases of relevant ecosystem players. Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, finance, or related fields from a premier institution.
  • 1-2 years of work experience in investment banking, consulting, venture capital, or startup roles; climate-focused work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills specific to early-stage investments.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Passion for climate innovation and sustainability.
