Job Title: NVH Development Expert

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced NVH Development Expert to lead our vehicle NVH development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding and tracking vehicle benchmarking initiatives, establishing robust target setting for multiple vehicle programmes, and ensuring excellence in NVH performance.

  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of NVH requirements and solutions across various vehicle architectures, as well as proven expertise in applying vehicle NVH development tools and methodologies to diagnose and resolve complex NVH issues.
  • Grounded knowledge in vehicle NVH simulation techniques will enable the candidate to effectively predict and improve NVH performance early in the development cycle. Proficiency with advanced NVH analysis tools, including test laboratories, Muller BBM systems, and sophisticated techniques such as ASQ, PCA, TPA, and Sound Power measurements, will facilitate precise NVH assessments and improvements.
  • The candidate should be well-versed with powertrain, driveline, chassis, suspension, sound packaging, and mounting systems, applying refinement expertise throughout development and benchmarking phases. Familiarity with current and emerging NVH technologies and innovative approaches is critical, alongside an understanding of design, manufacturing, and NVH countermeasure strategies.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Design Engineering from a reputed institution.
  • An excellent academic record, ideally with a GATE score above 90%, and from premier institutes such as IITs or reputed regional government engineering colleges.
  • Continuous professional development and certifications in NVH-related domains would be considered advantageous.
