Key Roles & Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will serve as a key liaison between our organization and Indian Railways, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of rail logistics.

  • Coordinate with railway officials to allocate rakes and monitor their movement status.
  • Maintain open communication channels to address operational issues and ensure logistical compliance.
  • Work closely with government departments to facilitate the smooth operation of rail logistics.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • At least 4 years of experience in railway logistics, preferably with a strong network of contacts within the industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with railways officials and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex logistical challenges.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.

Required Knowledge & Expertise:

  • Thorough understanding of rail freight operations and logistics planning principles.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards for rail logistics.
  • Proficiency in report preparation and documentation related to rail logistics performance.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Transportation Management.
  • Relevant certifications like Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
