Key Data Engineer Role

We are looking for an experienced data engineer with strong expertise in designing and building scalable data pipelines using various tools and technologies. This is a key role that requires hands-on experience in Snowflake, AWS Lambda, Glue, DBT, and SQL to drive business success.

About the Job

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, and DBT to ensure seamless data flow and high-quality output.
  • Developing and optimizing data models in Snowflake for scalability and performance, meeting the needs of business stakeholders and analysts.
  • Writing efficient and optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Ensuring data quality, consistency, and governance across all platforms, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines, identifying issues, and implementing fixes to maintain data integrity and continuity.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Strong expertise in AWS services, including Lambda, Glue, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
  • Proficiency in DBT for data transformations and modular pipelines.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, including complex queries and performance optimization.
  • Solid understanding of ETL/ELT design patterns and data integration best practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git.
