Job Opportunity: Category Leadership

Our company is seeking a skilled professional to lead and scale our Toys category. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in category management, with a focus on offline retail and eCommerce, particularly in the Toys category.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Onboarding leading Toys brands and launching them across e-commerce marketplaces and offline retail channels.
  • Managing the end-to-end brand lifecycle for global brands to scale in international markets.
  • Building and managing a curated portfolio of brands exclusively in the Toys category.
  • Driving brand growth through assortment expansion, optimizing underperforming SKUs, iterating packaging, content, and supply chain, and partnering with cross-functional teams to maximize brand performance.
  • Contributing to a robust omnichannel presence across Ecommerce and offline channels as feasible.
  • Driving profitability and scalability through margin management and GMV contribution.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Prior 8+ years of work experience in category management, including 4+ years in offline retail and eCommerce and at least 2+ years in the Toys category preferred.
  • A deep understanding of Toys' specific consumer behavior, product assortment, manufacturing, and supplier network.
  • Expertise in marketplace/retail selling: category strategy, pricing, visibility, and marketing levers.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling assortment and lifecycle SKU management.
  • A proven record of cross-functional collaboration across brand, ops, tech, and analytics.
