Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot complex issues with GTD-5 switches to ensure seamless network performance.
  • Deliver Tier 3 telephony and hardware support to customers worldwide.
  • Interface with clients, support teams, and vendors to resolve network problems efficiently.
  • Guide field teams on proper trouble isolation and hardware replacement procedures.
  • Document internal processes and mentor other engineers to promote knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure accurate ticket updates and participate in an on-call rotation to guarantee uninterrupted service.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' hands-on experience with GTD-5 hardware support and telephony troubleshooting.
  • Experience with call processing and translations to cater to diverse customer needs.
  • Familiarity with central office procedures and ISO27001 compliance to ensure data security.
  • Strong communication, customer focus, and documentation skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently from home and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience) to demonstrate technical expertise.
