Job Title: Assistant Logistics Manager

About the Role:

The role of an Assistant Logistics Manager plays a pivotal part in ensuring seamless day-to-day logistics operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Logistics Coordination: Supporting the implementation of logistics plans for timely deliveries, assisting in route planning and shipment scheduling for optimal efficiency, coordinating with internal teams and logistics partners to ensure smooth execution.
  2. Inventory & Warehouse Management: Monitoring stock levels, supporting inventory audits, ensuring proper documentation during goods receipt, storage, and dispatch, maintaining proper product storage and safety standards.
  3. Transportation & Vendor Liaison: Tracking inbound and outbound shipments, escalating delays or issues, coordinating with transporters and third-party logistics providers, supporting negotiation and execution of transportation agreements.
  4. Compliance & Documentation: Maintaining accurate logistics records and shipment documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations, following safety protocols and assisting in periodic risk assessments.
  5. Reporting & Cost Control: Providing daily/weekly logistics updates and reports to the manager, tracking logistics expenses, highlighting cost-optimization opportunities.

Requirements:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill this role. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field, 2–4 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations, working knowledge of logistics software (e.g., SAP, WMS) and MS Excel, good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills, a valid driver's license (preferred), and willingness to travel if required.
