The successful candidate will oversee the implementation and maintenance of our Quality Management System (QMS), guaranteeing compliance with industry certifications and customer requirements.

  • Quality System Development and Maintenance:">
    • ">
    • Develop, implement, and maintain procedures, work instructions, and standards aligned with industry certifications like ISO 9001 or IATF 16949.">
    • Establish and document processes to ensure machine shop compliance with regulations and customer demands.">

  • Quality Planning and Process Control:">
    • ">
    • Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T specifications to create actionable quality control plans.">
    • Design inspection plans detailing what to inspect, when, and which tools to use at each stage.">
    • Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) to monitor key process variables and ensure process stability.">
    • Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) to verify that the first part meets specifications before mass production.">

  • Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions:">
    • ">
    • Lead investigations into defects or non-conformances using problem-solving methodologies like the 5 Whys or Fishbone diagrams.">
    • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.">
    • Manage non-conforming materials by quarantining, disposing of, and accounting for defective parts.">

    • Perform hands-on inspections of parts requiring a deep understanding of metrology and proficiency with various measurement tools.">
    • Operate advanced equipment like CMMs to measure complex geometries and tight tolerances.">
    • Use profilometers to ensure surface roughness meets specifications.">

    • Analyze quality data, identify trends, and lead initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.">
    • Head projects focused on reducing defects, improving process capability, and optimizing production workflows.">
