Job Overview

As the Data Platform Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for designing and scaling the core data foundation behind our enterprise SaaS and AI-driven products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect, develop, and maintain a robust semantic layer and modular dbt pipelines.
  • Own schema design, documentation, and data contracts across the analytics and application layer.
  • Define and enforce data platform best practices, versioning, and governance for all data models.
  • Implement data testing, observability, and quality automation to ensure confidence at scale.
  • Guide tool selection and platform evolution across the modern data stack.
Requirements:
  1. 10+ years of experience in backend or data engineering roles.
  2. Deep experience designing and maintaining normalized and dimensional data models.
  3. Advanced expertise in dbt (macros, packages, tests, modularization, docs).
  4. Expert in SQL, with a focus on PostgreSQL.
  5. Strong Python scripting for transformation logic and automation.
About You:
  • 6+ years in engineering leadership, architecture, or tech lead roles.
  • Excellent collaboration skills across engineering, product, and analytics.
  • Strong communicator—can author technical documentation and explain system tradeoffs.
