Job Overview

The Network Support Engineer II is a technical support professional who provides assistance on F5 solutions. They manage multiple complex cases, analyze network environments, and apply sound judgment to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

This role involves providing remote assistance on F5 solutions to customers and partners.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for F5 products and services.
  • Analyze network environments and apply sound judgment to resolve issues.
  • Manage multiple complex cases and communicate effectively with customers.
  • Participate in ongoing training with F5 products and related technologies.
  • Maintain high schedule adherence and work hours.
  • Effectively manage case escalations to tier 3 while maintaining customer communication.
  • Prioritize cases based on customer and business needs.
  • Perform additional projects as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5 years' experience in a professional technical support role or equivalent experience working with relevant technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree, Honors Graduate Certificate preferred.
  • Certification to 201 level certification expected at NSE II level.
  • Excellent customer service skills together with experience supporting corporate customers.
  • Hands-on technical experience with internetworking, data center operations including WAN operations.
  • Network protocols, TCP/IP, OSI Model, UNIX or Linux preferred.
  • Potential for exposure to Network Security.
  • Proficient with Windows OS.
  • Able to work under limited instructions.
  • Evidence of building strong internal external relationships within a team environment.
  • Experience with a main Customer Relationship Management system; Siebel experience preferred.
  • Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail.
  • Fluent English speaker, including technical concepts and terminology.
  • Effective communicator of technical information to customers.
