The Digital and Technology team at General Mills is the largest unit dedicated to exploring trends and innovations in technology, leading adoption of cutting-edge technologies across the organization.
Closely collaborating with global business teams, the focus is on understanding business models and identifying opportunities to leverage technology for increased efficiency and disruption.
Key responsibilities include product design development analytics, advocating for enterprise Business Intelligence standards, best practices, and approved BI techniques.
- Design, develop, test, automate, and launch new Business Intelligence visualization and reporting solutions leveraging tools such as Tableau, Looker, DOMO, Advance Excel, BigQuery, etc.
- Implement data prep tools, connected data approaches, data cataloguing, which can elevate the team's ability to tackle business and technical challenges.
A strong background in data analysis, software development, and Business Intelligence is essential for this role. Effective communication and collaboration skills are also required to work closely with peers and stakeholders.
