About the Business Analyst Role

The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting business teams by creating and modifying reports using different business intelligence tools across various categories and regions.

  • Deliver standard reports, own and deliver ad-hoc reporting creation requests
  • Elevate insights, identify business problems and opportunities
  • Act as a point-person SME problem-solver for stakeholders on multi-platform tools and databases
  • Understand business requirements and transform into dynamic visualization dashboards within stipulated time-period or as per business needs
  • Master and own monthly deliverables in the form of reports and presentations, and send quality output in a timely manner
  • Develop business and trade knowledge to enable conceptualizing R&A and help build valuable and crisp reports from scratch - turnkey reporting with HMM
  • Contribute to the execution of complex best-in-class reports and tools
  • Avoid redundancy in reporting and call out best practices to the team
  • Support sales strategies leveraging various tools to build real-time performance dashboards, reports, and provide crisp insight
  • Work alongside peers and inculcate best practices and elevate the team's ability to tackle business questions with value adds
  • Anticipate customer needs based on business trends and previous projects

Key Responsibilities:

  • Eliminate Waste, Contribute to Functional Productivity Goals
  • CI Mindset, develop and drive a lens of continuous improvement for the projects, process, larger team
  • Attend trainings, both recommended and self-initiated refresher trainings to stay up-to-date on tool dynamics and functional applications
  • Project Management, juggle multiple projects including long-range projects and own project scoping to trouble-shooting, collaborating, to timely communication iterations with peers and stakeholders to high-impact completion and presentation
  • Mentoring, Training new hires and Data Analysts to excel in their roles and outperform expectations
  • Building Stakeholder Relationships, understand client needs, customer requests, and see the larger picture to enable holistic solutions
  • Ability to recommend and influence changes to process procedures
  • Explore business development opportunities and transform into tangible results
  • Ability to communicate challenges in an assertive manner

Requirements:

  • Full-time graduation from an accredited university, mandatory
  • Intermediate, high proficiency in Microsoft applications, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail, ability to complete given tasks with accuracy
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Continuous Improvement mindset with technical agility
  • Multitasking ability, learn and implement a host of tools, databases, and software platforms
  • Basic-intermediate with data manipulation and visualization packages, i.e., Tableau, Qlik, Alteryx, Spotfire GCP DataPrep
