Key Position Overview

 

  • The position of Quality Assurance Lead is pivotal in ensuring the excellence of software products by developing and implementing robust quality assurance processes and procedures.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements, identify and prioritize testing needs.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts, and execute tests to guarantee that software meets specifications.
  • Identify and report defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve them.
  • Build strong relationships with product developers, direct manager, and engineering peers to develop correct solutions and contribute to forward direction.
  • Mentor junior software test engineers to enhance knowledge and skills in testing methodologies and tools.
  • Monitor the defect management process and manage changes to ensure regression tests are executed effectively.

 

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 7 years of professional work experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and version control systems.
  • Strong expertise in performing different types of functional and non-functional testing.
  • Ability to design and develop test automation frameworks using relevant code libraries.
  • Experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Maven.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

 

Essential Skills and Technologies:
  • Test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, BDD framework).
  • Version control systems (e.g., SVN, Git).
