Project Associate Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Associate to support our urban landscape and complete streets initiatives. In this key position, you will contribute to the development and implementation of projects focused on creating sustainable and accessible public spaces.

Responsibilities:

  • Support project development and execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver results-driven initiatives.
  • Conduct site assessments and gather data to inform project planning and design.
  • Assist in preparing project materials, presentations, and reports related to complete street projects.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and consultants.
  • Organize and facilitate community consultations and workshops to foster collaboration and engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices in urban landscape design and complete streets.
  • Analyze data to evaluate project outcomes and inform future initiatives.
  • Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and presentations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in urban planning, landscape design, or project coordination.
  • Strong understanding of urban planning principles and sustainable development practices.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Superb communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with government agencies and NGOs.
  • Site audit and survey experience.
  • Knowledge of complete streets design principles.
