The Performance Support Specialist will be responsible for managing and resolving complex technical issues, focusing on performance and instance availability. This includes being the last point of escalation within the technical support department.

This is a customer-facing role requiring strong interpersonal skills, in addition to technical expertise.

Utilize tools like BigData, Splunk, and Grafana to analyze metrics and identify trends.

Using database optimization skills, directly tune the database, add indexes, maintain tables, and understand execution plans to recommend better-formed queries.

Review application code to identify and fix performance concerns.

Bridge the gap between customers and internal teams to reproduce performance issues and find root cause analysis.

Proficient in relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle), Java programming, and object-oriented design principles.
