Job Title: AWS Cloud Architect – Oil & Gas Specialist

As a seasoned professional in designing and implementing scalable cloud solutions, you will be responsible for building and optimizing data pipelines and cloud services on AWS. With a strong background in big data and cloud computing, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative data-driven solutions that meet the needs of the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions using AWS cloud services.
  • Collaborate with domain experts, data scientists, and business analysts to translate oil and gas business requirements into effective data-driven solutions.
  • Develop expertise in working with large datasets and ensure data governance, quality, and security compliance.
  • Support real-time data streaming and analytics using AWS services (Kinesis, Lambda).
  • Document technical solutions and provide knowledge transfer to the team.
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in AWS services: S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena, EMR, Lake Formation, Lambda, Kinesis, Step Functions, CloudWatch.
  • Expertise in ETL/ELT development using PySpark, Python, or SQL.
  • Strong SQL skills and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Familiarity with oil and gas industry datasets and use cases.
