**Job Title:** Senior SAP SD Functional Consultant

Job Description

This role will serve as a technical expert and liaison providing assistance to various teams by understanding business processes and requirements at a depth sufficient to design and implement appropriate SAP functional solutions.

The position includes applying subject matter expertise to identify, develop, and implement techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings and efficiencies.

You will be especially knowledgeable with required SAP modules, business processes, navigation mechanics, configuration requirements, and integration with other modules.

  • Organize and lead workshops to gather and validate business requirements.
  • Perform configuration, functional documentation, testing plans, execute testing, track results, system documentation, and produce training materials.
  • Suggest new SAP functionality to the business to the best extent possible, involving review of business processes and system integration challenges.
  • Conduct fit-gap assessments to determine areas of configuration that can be leveraged.
  • Participate in proof-of-concept analyses and prototypes to ensure proposed designs meet business requirements.
  • Establish credibility at all levels with clients and build problem-solving partnerships with clients and colleagues (Relationship Management).
  • Ensure systems design and development satisfy end-user needs by developing/reviewing test plans and test scripts.
  • Act as an evangelist for SAP benefits across the organization; promote SAP knowledge and usage throughout the organization.
  • Prepare detailed functional specifications for development activities including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
  • Prepare project-related documentation (object designs, business rules, technical information etc) during all project stages.
  • Design and deliver end-user training and training materials; provide functional support as necessary.
  • Lead, manage, and deliver all assigned project and support activities on behalf of the SAP Team.
