Job Title: AS400 Application Tester

  • We are seeking a highly skilled AS400 tester with experience in designing and executing test cases for IBM i-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual and automated testing across functional and technical layers to ensure the quality of AS400 applications.
  • Conduct system integration and user acceptance testing to verify that AS400 applications meet business requirements.
  • Identify, document, and triage defects; collaborate with development teams for resolution to ensure timely delivery of high-quality AS400 applications.
  • Analyse test outcomes using cognitive and analytical techniques to drive improvements in AS400 application quality.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of AS400 programming and testing methodologies.
  • Experience with SQL queries and ability to write efficient and effective SQL code.
  • Hands-on experience with automation testing tools and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
