Job Title: Chief Fundraising Strategist

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and driven leader to spearhead our fundraising efforts, creating a comprehensive strategy to secure the revenue needed for our philanthropic endeavors.

This role involves implementing an action-oriented annual fundraising plan, establishing relationships with key stakeholders, and working closely with cross-functional teams to drive fundraising opportunities and impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and execute a national network of diverse supporters, strengthening existing connections and adding new champions and donors.
  • Develop a portfolio approach to fund raising, ensuring effort and target distribution across different kinds of sources.
  • Proactively execute multiple aspects of the plan, engaging high net worth individuals, corporations, foundations, and other pertinent entities.
  • Work closely with Foundation Leaders to put in place and utilize an effective fund channelization and utilization process along with clear measures to determine net value added in targeted thematic areas.
  • Keep initiative teams informed on emergent trends and outlook in terms of long-standing partnership and/or support commitments to ensure that operating designs are simple, relevant, and practicable in terms of measurable impact.
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree in business, social sciences, or another related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in direct fundraising and partnership roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • A driven and empathetic leader who can work across boundaries and get things done.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and comfort with the ambiguity of the fundraising universe.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills, interpersonal skills, and an executive presence with the ability to quickly establish personal credibility and demonstrate expertise.
  • Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work well in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and time-zones.
  • Ability to stretch limits to meet deadlines and time-bound goals for self and team members.
