Job Overview

The role of Senior Manager entails leading a team to process new business and end-to-end policy servicing for group business, ensuring exceptional customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Sales and Actuarial teams to finalize individual Group processes
  • Achieve issuance of policies and resolution of customer and intermediary queries
  • Provide an efficient, professional, and courteous service to intermediaries and customers
  • Maintain established procedures in a consistent manner and contribute to introducing improvements whenever possible
  • Implement and maintain quality and quantity controls to aid proactive management and anticipate problems
  • Supervise and train a team to meet business needs as they grow
  • Coordinate with finance for reconciliation of policy account balances
  • Drive transformation and digitization of group business

Qualifications and Requirements:

MBA or ACII degree with 8-10 years' experience in customer services or operations departments. Associate of Insurance Institute is an added advantage.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Experience in operations within the financial services industry
  • Background in Group Operations department of an Insurance company is essential
  • Data processing skills to deliver operational efficiency
  • Proficiency in using databases and office management software
  • Strong leadership, team building, and influencing skills
