Content Editor Specialist

The primary responsibility of the Content Editor Specialist will be to ensure that all English subtitles are accurately formatted, edited, and proofread for audio and grammatical correctness. This includes formatting, editing, and proofreading English subtitles intended for the deaf and hard of hearing, with a focus on providing cultural references and expressions as an aid to translators.
Key responsibilities include:
- Formatting, editing, and proofreading English subtitles for audio and grammatical accuracy
- Performing audio fidelity quality checks
- Localizing language and spelling for British and U.S. English releases
- Manipulating English files using proprietary software
- Preparing scripts and running conversions between formats
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be able to identify and utilize team documentation, navigate Sfera and the database efficiently, and work under tight deadlines. A broad cultural knowledge, teamwork, attention to detail, and technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software are also essential requirements.
The successful Content Editor Specialist will have the ability to effectively communicate complex information, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Proficiency in proprietary software and strong analytical skills are necessary for success in this position.
